Project "Bankless Monk" is a challenge to spread out the concept of Decentralized Finance and maximize your crypto wealth. Featuring a unique performer, you will witness the revolutionary period of the Internet (from web2 to web3)

Yogetsu is going to stay in Europe during the entire summer of 2022. His challenge starts with his performance at Biohacker Summit in Helsinki, Finland, on the 1st of June, and Berkshire, UK, is his goal on 21 st of August for his performance at Medicine Festival.

During his entire stay in EU, Yogetsu challenges performance tours in Europe and get supported by fans through crypto.

Bankless Monk Bio

Yogetsu Akasaka is a Japanese Zen Buddhist monk who creates music for meditations. He combines Buddhist chanting with beatboxing. With a loop machine, he layers sounds and chants from his voice. He became a Zen Buddhist monk after traveling to eight cities as a beatboxer. During his intense practice as a Zen Buddhist monk, he also had an opportunity to practice in Zen centers in the United States, including San Francisco Zen Center, known as the place where Steve Jobs used to attend. The experience of the mixed culture of Japanese traditional Zen Buddhism and American organic & sustainable community, which is from counterculture in the '60s, inspired him as a Zen Music Artist. After leaving his practice period in the Zen monastery, he decided to create his music by combining beatboxing and Buddhist chanting. He thought it was the best way to take away people's suffering and confer peace.
