Barcelona 2020 Day1
14 years…
It has been 14 years since we visited Barcelona when we were 20 years old. I know how much my wife sacrifices her life for what I love to do. All I could do for her birthday is taking her to a memorial place for both of us. Time flies so fast! Happy belated holiday and new year to my lovely wife because I had been in a fight camp. Basically, I spent most of my time on training and preparation for a past competition.
Visiting Barcelona is kind a special for us because we both had nice Spanish roommates from Barcelona and visited this beautiful city back in 2006.
Cervesería Catalana
Tapas
We arrived in the city in late afternoon, so walked around city and bring back our memories a little bit. After that, we had a great dinner at Cervesería Catalana. This is quite the famous place. We've planned on a big dinner, so this place was perfect for our first night. Well, after seeing the choice and tasting the quality we couldn't stop ordering at tapas bar. Their service was friendly, attentive and I could order in Spanish. Thanks for understanding my Spanish. They did a great recommendation and served everything quickly.
Their food was amazingly delicious, fresh and you don't need to be hesitant to order something new since everything is great with high quality ingredients. I highly recommend to order the choices with seafood which was flavored simply, well grilled and juicy.
