Short Stay in London
London
the way back to Boston, we have about 7 hours layover in London. Even though we had only 3 hours of free time in London, that was enough to get a taste of the city! The City of London is the ancient center of London but is actually the smallest city in England. The London that we’re familiar with covers a much wider metropolitan area.
You should figure out which London train stations and airports have left luggage and luggage storage facilities and find other luggage storage companies that can safely store your bags while exploring the capital. Hands-free makes your travel way easier.
London Gatwick Airport
Left luggage services at London Gatwick Airport:
London Gatwick South Terminal. Back of check-in area. Open 24 hours, seven days a week. £6 per item for up to three hours, £11 for three to 24 hours, £7.50 for 24 to 72 hours and £5 for each additional 24 hours.
London Gatwick North Terminal. Next to inter-terminal shuttle. 5am to 10pm. £6 per item for up to three hours, £11 for three to 24 hours, £7.50 for 24 to 72 hours and £5 for each additional 24 hours.
Are you planning to visit London soon? 7 hours layover was enough for us to enjoy London. However, if I have another opportunity to visit London, I would research more to get dope experience next time. Find free or cheap things to do on your London trip; fun and cool things to do; unusual or romantic things to do in London. There are plenty of London breaks to choose from, whether you are coming for a day trip or for a whole weekend in London. Plan ahead for your trip to London: search for upcoming events, museum and galleries, sightseeing tours, theatre shows, bars, restaurants, nightlife, days out and even day trips from London. Visiting London has never been easier with these ideas for London breaks. My layover was just like this. You can see my vlog below.
The Best Way to Tour a City Is Through Its Grocery Store. The secret museum in every city is a grocery store. If there is one habit that you should not avoid while kicking back in an unfamiliar locale, it’s visiting the supermarket. Normally, weekly shopping trips are more a necessary evil than a pleasure, and I get no satisfaction from going to the store just to buy milk and coffee creamer. But when on vacation, the usual expectations surrounding grocery shopping are gone: The experience is less about what I need to buy, and more about what I want.
