  • The wildest part: a virtual Ayahuasca experience in VR goggles at Teemu's place.

Exploring Estonia and Virtual Realities

The trip was as eye-opening as it was fun. After the Biohacker's Retreat, I spent a few days in Tallinn, Estonia's capital and cultural hub, and had some unique experiences.

Tallinn: A Blend of Old and New

Tallinn beautifully blends old and new. The medieval architecture of the Old Town sits alongside modern skyscrapers, making a cityscape that's a feast for the eyes. I spent my days walking the cobblestone streets, visiting historic landmarks, and eating the local food. The city's energy and history made every moment stick.

Bonding with Colleagues

One highlight was spending real time with my colleagues from the Biohacker Center. We shared meals, traded ideas, and got closer. Being surrounded by like-minded people who care about biohacking and wellness was inspiring. Those conversations gave me insights I'm looking forward to putting into practice.

Teemu's House

I also got to visit Teemu Arina's house. For anyone who doesn't know, Teemu is a renowned biohacker, author, and co-founder of the Biohacker Center. His approach to health and wellness has been a major influence on my own biohacking journey. His workstation looks amazing, and his whole environment is deeply biohacked.

Virtual Ayahuasca: An Unforgettable Experience

The most intriguing part of the visit was the virtual Ayahuasca experience. Teemu handed me a pair of VR goggles, and what followed was like nothing else. For anyone unfamiliar, Ayahuasca is a psychedelic brew used traditionally in spiritual medicine by indigenous people in the Amazon. The virtual version was built to mimic the visual effects of an Ayahuasca journey.

The moment I put on the goggles, I was somewhere else. The immersive visuals and sounds made a surreal world, captivating and introspective at once. A profound experience that pushed on my sense of reality and consciousness.

My Estonia trip mixed cultural exploration, professional growth, and personal growth. It reminded me how limitless biohacking can be, and how much there is in staying open to new experiences.
