A Biohacker's Journey: Exploring Estonia and Virtual Realities
Exploring Estonia and Virtual Realities
The trip was as enlightening as it was exciting. After the Biohacker's Retreat, I spent a few days in Tallinn, Estonia's capital and cultural hub, and had unique experiences.
Tallinn: A Blend of Old and New
Tallinn is a fascinating city that beautifully blends the old and the new. The medieval architecture of the Old Town coexists with the modern skyscrapers, creating a unique cityscape that's a feast for the eyes. I spent my days exploring the cobblestone streets, visiting the historic landmarks, and indulging in the local cuisine. The city's vibrant energy and rich history made every moment memorable.
Bonding with Colleagues
One of the highlights of my trip was spending quality time with my colleagues from the Biohacker Center. We shared meals, exchanged ideas, and strengthened our bonds. Being surrounded by like-minded individuals passionate about biohacking and wellness was inspiring. These interactions enriched my trip and provided valuable insights I look forward to implementing in my practices.
Teemu's House
I also had the privilege of visiting Teemu Arina's house. For those who don't know, Teemu is a renowned biohacker, author, and co-founder of the Biohacker Center. His innovative approach to health and wellness has been a major influence on my biohacking journey. His workstation looks amazing, and his environment is very biohacked!
Virtual Ayahuasca: An Unforgettable Experience
The most intriguing part of my visit to Teemu's house was the virtual Ayahuasca experience. Teemu handed me a pair of VR goggles; what followed was an experience like no other. For those unfamiliar, Ayahuasca is a psychedelic brew used traditionally in spiritual medicine by indigenous people in the Amazon. The virtual Ayahuasca experience was designed to mimic the visual effects of an Ayahuasca journey.
I was transported to a different world as I put on the VR goggles. The immersive visuals and sounds created a surreal environment that was both captivating and introspective. It was a profound experience that challenged my perception of reality and consciousness.
My trip to Estonia blended cultural exploration, professional development, and personal growth. It reminded me of the limitless possibilities of biohacking and the importance of staying open to new experiences.
