Optimized Day Workshop Amsterdam 2022: A Day of Biohacking and Self-Improvement

The Biohacker Summit Amsterdam 2022 was not just about listening to speakers and networking with like-minded individuals. It also included an immersive and exclusive retreat from the Optimized Day Workshop. This workshop was a full day of practical exercises, lectures, and experiences designed to help participants optimize their daily routines for better health, productivity, and overall well-being.

The day started with an opening circle and Zen meditation led by Yogetsu. This session set the day's tone, helping participants center themselves and prepare for the activities.

Following the meditation, I led a morning workout session. This light movement exercise was designed to wake up the body and mind, and it included affirmations and goal setting to help participants start their day on a positive note.

Hands-on Lectures and Experiences

After the workout, Teemu delivered a lecture on the principles of an optimized day. This talk gave participants a framework for structuring their day for maximum productivity and well-being.

The afternoon was filled with a series of lectures and workshops. Teemu Arina and Eduard de Wilde discussed biohacking technologies, tracking, and supplements and gave demos. Teemu also led an upgraded nutrition and beverages workshop, providing practical tips for optimizing metabolism, energy, focus, and stress.

Siim Land, a renowned biohacker, lectured on optimizing metabolism, energy, focus, and stress. His insights were precious for those looking to improve their physical performance and mental clarity.

The benefits of heat alteration were discussed by Leigh Ewin, who stepped in for Kasper van der Meulen. Leigh also led a breathwork session, teaching participants how to use their breath to manage stress and improve their mental and physical performance.

The day was completed with a sound healing session led by Jani Toivonen, followed by cold plunges instructed by Leigh Ewin. These activities were designed to help participants relax and recover after a day of intense learning and physical activity.

Understand Your Own Body

These exercises were designed to help participants manage stress, improve focus, and enhance their overall well-being. Most participants are busy entrepreneurs and executives, so what I provide should be not ideal but realistic.
