The Upgraded Offsite: An Overview

After Biohacker Summit Helsinki, we headed out to the world's largest archipelago off Finland. This is where ancient Finns used to pay their taxes to the king with seal fat and salted herring. They survived on fishing and what nature gave them, and we were there to immerse ourselves in the same sea and nature that fed them.

The offsite was a complete nervous-system reset. It included transportation, a boat trip, lunch and dinner, a sauna session, swimming in the Baltic Sea, nature trips, guided forest meditations, and a full-body recovery program. Invitation-only, which made it exclusive.

The Journey to the Island

Our day started with a bus ride from central Helsinki to a harbor, about 20 minutes. Then a small boat to the island, another 20-minute trip. Guided by experts, we walked the island, sank into the forest, and took meditative moments along the way.

The Main Destination: A Wooden Artist & Fisherman Hideout

At our main destination, a wooden artist and fisherman hideout, we had a nature walk, visited a traditional historical Finn's house, ate a delicious lunch there, and had some free time. A traditional Finnish sauna session followed. Participants could also swim in the sea or hike the untouched island.

In the evening, we had a three-course fine-dining dinner made from local archipelago ingredients. It was catered to our dietary needs, making it a personalized experience.

Return to Helsinki

We returned to Helsinki by boat, closing out a day of calm and renewal. For anyone who had to catch a flight, arrangements were made around their schedules.

In the end, the upgraded offsite brought together nature, wellness, and community. A celebration of what nature gives and what biohacking can do. If you're into biohacking and nature offsites, I really recommend joining the next one. Stay tuned for details.
