Before our flight, we enjoyed the last day in Barcelona. I think this place is my most favorite building designed by Gaudi. The Palau Güell is a mansion designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí for the industrial tycoon Eusebi Güell and built between 1886 and 1888. Montjuïc is a great place to enjoy panoramic views of Barcelona. The Castell de Montjuïc fortress is located on the summit of the hill, and it's surrounded by imposing ramparts. There are several large-caliber guns mounted on the fortress, which were used to defend the port area. The fortress is open to the public, and you can walk around the flat roof and corner bastions for some great views of the cityscape, sea, and mountains. Montjuïc is also home to some great museums, like the Fundació Joan Miró and the Catalan National Museum of Art (MNAC).
