BIO CBD plus
BioCBD™ is an all-natural, water-soluble source of CBD plus Ayurvedic herbs that are more bioavailable and effective than any CBD hemp oil products on the market. With CBD becoming more prevalent, we hear all kinds of ailments that CBD can treat, but no one's talking just about general health. No one's talking about how CBD can play a significant role in just living a healthier, longer life and just overall having that better well-being.
CBD is one of 120 compounds called ‘cannabinoids’ found in the cannabis plant. Cannabinoids work through our endocannabinoid system (ECS), a system which was discovered in the ’90s after a project at the St. Louis University School of Medicine found that not only do mammalian brain receptors have sites that respond to cannabinoids, but they were the brain’s most abundant neurotransmitter type.
What is CBD
What is CBD? Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of 85 phytocannabinoids known to currently exist in the cannabis plant with an expectation of more to come.
These different phytocannabinoids are known to exist in unique levels in different varieties of cannabis. Most of the cannabinoids don’t exist in large enough concentrations to have any noticeable effect, but CBD concentration can be as high as 40% in CBD-rich cultivars of industrial hemp. Cannabidiol has been featured on Oprah, Dr. Oz, and credited by one of our country’s top medical minds, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, as the reason he changed his mind about the unlimited potential of cannabis. FDA regulations prevent us from making any health-related claims as it relates to people taking our products. This means that we cannot tell you about all the benefits of CBD, but you can do your research. Simply complete an internet search for “CBD health,” and you’re on your way. It’s that easy.
For general health, using CBD oil can:
1) reduce inflammation
2) boost the immune system
3) reduce anxiety
4) improve mood
We have chronic inflammation. It's the inflammation that's occurring in our body all the time. It's continually happening. Sometimes, it's worse than other times. This has to do with the fact that our cells become sick, and we trigger an immune response. Then it cascades into this vicious circle, where the immune system responds even more, and more, and more, yielding to chronic inflammation. Cytokines are signaling proteins that ultimately recruit inflammation to happen. Cytokines will trigger specific immune cells to release inflammation or even reduce inflammation when given the right circumstances.
When we get down to CBD, CBD modulates the cytokine production. It works on cytokine production with particular cells, though. Since we don't want to get rid of all the cytokine activity, we do want to get rid of it with specific things. So, particularly immune cells that overactive that are causing inflammation in our joints all the time or causing inflammation in our brain, they can be become reduced with the instance of CBD being in the equation, simply because now we have all the stimulation of these natural endocannabinoids to reduce that inflammation.
3 Fascinating Facts About The Hemp
The hemp plant might be one of the most underrated plants of modern civilization. It can be used as medicine for pain and inflammation, to make clothing, rope, and paper, and it’s seeds are one of the densest sources of nutrition available. Humans have understood for centuries it’s abundant uses, and now modern civilization is beginning to catch up. Here are three fascinating facts about the hemp plant you probably don’t know.
According to Rachel Brown from BIO CBD PLUS, there are 3 fascinating facts about Hemp plants.
1. Hemp has been used throughout human civilization and is possibly one of the earliest plants to be cultivated by humans.
That’s right—the hemp plant was the first plant we saw enough value in to try and cultivate ourselves. And it wasn’t just one civilization, it was just about all of them! In an archeological site in Japan, they found remnants of the plant, signifying its use from around 10,000 years ago. Herodotus, the classical Greek historian reported hemp-seed smoke was used for ritual and recreation in ancient Greece around 480 BC. Hemp is referenced in the Mishna, the first major written collection of the Jewish oral traditions, signifying Jews in the 2nd century were familiar with its cultivation. It was employed in cooking in medieval Germany and Italy and later in Europe, it was used for ropes on many ships, including those of Christopher Columbus. Our ancestors knew hemp was a super plant, which makes the reasons why it became demonized in modern western civilization even more bizarre!
2. Hemp can be used as a “mop crop” to clear impurities out of soil.
Hemp, through a process known as phytoremediation, clears a variety of other toxins and hazardous contaminants from the soil, water, and air. In 1990, hemp’s ability to accumulate heavy metals and other toxins from the soil was confirmed in a study done on contaminated fields near Chernobyl. That’s right! Hemp is helping to clean Chernobyl.
3. The seeds that come from the plant are considered a superfood.
Hemp seeds are considered a superfood because they contain an uncommon amount of vitamins and nutrients. With a nearly perfect balance of omega 3 to omega 6, plus iron, vitamin E, and all of the essential amino acids (comparable to other sources of protein such as meat, milk, eggs, and soy), hemp seeds are said to be one of the most nutritionally complete food sources in the world. They’re notable in providing 64% of the daily value of protein per 100-gram serving; they’re a rich source of dietary fiber, B vitamins and high in minerals like manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc, and iron.
Marijuana? CBD? THC?
Here is what I have learned about the effect of Marijuana
Most often referring to tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – the part of the cannabis plant that induces the euphoric state
THC levels have steadily risen from 3-5% in the 1960s to as high as 28% today
THC fits inside the CB1 receptor in the cerebral cortex of your brain (which causes the “high”)
Less often known is cannabidiol (CBD)
It's one of over 80 cannabinoids in the hemp plant
It accounts for up to 40% of the plant's total cannabinoid extract
CBD is more often researched for medical purposes than THC
How CBD and THC are separated
Hemp plants are grown with male plants fertilizing female plants
Remove the male plants, and the female plants produce THC (they produce very little THC when pollinated by the male plants)
Male and female plants together meet the international standard of <1% THC
Female plants contain other cannabinoids with efficacious health benefits (CBG, CBGA, CBC, CBCA, CBDA)

CBD Hemp Oil vs. Water Soluble CBD
Their revolutionary products are easier for bodily absorption, which aids the body in transporting them where it needs them. Increased bioavailability means we do not have to use as much of the active ingredients, and those savings are passed on to our customers. Not only are you receiving the highest quality CBD products, but you are also saving money and saving yourself from the grief of purchasing a product with fewer results and little effect.
Are CBD Products Safe?
The compound cannabidiol itself is safe, but not all CBD products are created equally, so do your research on both the company and their products.
Oil-based cannabidiol products are not easily absorbed by the body, with what we believe is a 6% bioavailability in the body on average, and often require high concentrations of CBD to produce the desired effects and health benefits.
Sometimes the body cannot get rid of the extra elements that cannot be absorbed, and if you take these hemp products daily and in large doses, the ingredients can build up in your system and lead to unpleasant side effects. This is especially unsettling, considering a large portion of people requiring CBD for medicinal purposes are children. All-natural and water-soluble CBD changes the meaning of what a safe product can be. When you take our products, your body takes in only what it needs, and because it is water-soluble, the rest is gently removed from your system, eliminating the chance for toxic buildup and negative side effects.
Certificate of Analysis
They provide customers with a certificate of analysis on all of our revolutionary products. Their products always start with a full-spectrum hemp-derived CBD oil, full of all the synergistic cannabinoids & terpenes. You can check the certificate of analysis
