Unplugged
I got what I was looking for. Peace and quiet in a pristine environment at the end of summer in New England. Just want to share my experience at a great campground in Harold Parker state forest where you can access from Boston in only 30mins. This camp site/ state park is such a game changer for me because I didn’t know how easy I can get unplugged and detox from modern technologies, EMF and city pollution. There is a swimming beach inside the campground, the sites are really private, and hiking trails everywhere.
It is close to Boston but still very quiet.
I camped here only one night, but it was an amazing experience. I am an avid tent camper but for those who are also on a budget. Seriously, it is a cheap way to stay in the Boston area for awhile. Once arrived at my site, I built my tent at a very relaxing and refreshing camping site under the tall trees. It has to be done before sunset.
I stopped by at farmer’s market and got a lot of fresh organic vegetables from local farmers. There is no secret for tasty bowl of salad here because fruits and vegetables are super fresh and I can eat them as it is without dressing or anything.
Chunky chopped veggies with uncured organic bacon from a local butcher met each other in the salad bowl. It was a great BREAKFAST. Yes, I broke my fasting around 2pm and then took a walk in nature. Wish we all lead our life like this. Compressing feeding window is a great for health especially combined with small ongoing activities throughout a day. Well, this is exactly the same as our what ancestor had been doing.
I want to show my gear. This Onnit division daypack is a perfect upgrade for my life! I use it while hiking and hillclimbing. This pack fits on my body well and passed my expectations as well. It has so many pockets and is very well designed and put together. I love how much I can pack in this backpack.
The best thing about accessories is that they work with casual, business, and going out attire. Here is my toys in my men’s porch. Accessories help me to look more attractive in my lifestyle. These are small things but it makes a lot of impact in my everyday life.
Most of the men have a pocket knife collection. This small but beautiful knife would make a perfect addition to their pile. I love French knife for both outdoor scene and dining. Opinel is my choice.
Health benefits of CBD oil that are backed by scientific evidence. CBD is one of many compounds, known as cannabinoids, in the cannabis plant. Researchers have been looking at the possible therapeutic uses of CBD. I use it for better sleep and relaxation. Here is some benefits from CBD if you are not familiar with it.
ANXIETY, IMMUNITY & SLEEP SUPPORT - Gain quality sleep with our exceptional quality hemp oil that helps relieve stress, reduce anxiety and heighten mood, while supporting a healthier heart, brain, focus, joints, immune system, skin, and hair.
ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS - Hemp oil works as a wonderful alternative to fish oil supplements that lack the essential Omega 6. Hemp oil provides the optimum requirement of Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids for long-term health and quality nutrition.
Oil of Oregano is loaded with antioxidants and powerful compounds that have proven health benefits. In case, I got infection or am in any “need antibiotic situation“, Oil of Oregano is my natural remedy.
Treating foot or nail fungus: Put a few teaspoons of our oregano oil in a basin of water and soak your feet in it. You can apply the oil with a carrier oil, on the skin or nails as well. This will help alleviate any kind of skin fungus.
piratory and immune system health: Bolster your immune system with oregano oil, as a 100% natural tool. It is known for helping prevent and treat a vast number of infections.
Relieve any bites and rashes from the body: Apply oregano oil diluted with a carrier oil on an affected area, to alleviate and help combat any bite\rash, including poisonous ones.
Onnit essential is my personal care products, which are used for my health and hygiene. I believe that their products contribute to a holistic lifestyle, wellness & sustainability. Especially, defense soap after martial arts training is MUST to prevent infection and other disease from mats and facilities.
Mizu bottle is my carry-on item for hydration. “Mizu“ means “water“ in Japanese. They make vacuum sealed, BPA free stainless steel water bottles. ONNIT x MIZU stainless steel water bottle ideal for use at the gym, in your car, or on any adventure, and its double wall insulation makes this bottle ideal for COLD or HOT liquids.
These mushrooms are edible? During hiking in nature, I found many different kinds of mushrooms. These look like containing poison. I never have the courage to try these. lol
Go to a forest. Walk slowly. Breathe. Open all your senses. This is the healing way of Shinrinyoku Forest Therapy,
the medicine of simply being in the forest. In Japan, Shinrinyoku is a term that means "forest bathing." It was developed in Japan during the 1980s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine. Researchers primarily in Japan have established a robust body of scientific literature on the health benefits of spending time under the canopy of a living forest. Now their research is helping to establish shinrinyoku and forest therapy throughout the world. The idea is simple: if a person simply visits a natural area and walks in a relaxed way there are calming, rejuvenating and restorative benefits to be achieved. I also stoped by recreational area/Kids play ground where I can do calisthenics and did body weight workout before dinner.
My most favorite time during camp! I really enjoyed the hearty flavor of a gourmet, grass-fed Ribeye Steak from my neighbor butcher. The marbling of fat throughout makes Ribeye Steak the champ of grilled steaks! This is mouth watering, tender, well-marbled beef. Make it right, and you’ll never long for anything again. Ribeye steaks are the king of beef, if you ask me, and if you are preparing this marvelous meat, you’d better be doing it properly. The steps here are super simple for this recipe. SEASON. SEAR. FINISH. REST. Please, don’t forget the butter and fresh herb. I added fresh time from farmers market. It was such a priceless experience.
