Birth day dinner at Kamakura Boston

Kamakura Boston

My wife gave me such a beautiful night for kimono date and dinner. We both are trying to be a powerful and beautiful couple like those we respect. How do you enjoy the authentic Japanese experience in Boston? Finally, I made it to Kamakura Boston special thanks to Youji Iwakura our chef night and his dream finally came true! Chef Iwakura provides Washoku (Japanese cuisine) Renaissance at Kamakura Boston. My wife put kimono on me and that made my experience so much better and authentic.

Kamakura opened up to the city of Boston in the Fall of 2018. They focus on seasonality and the availability of local ingredients and they are committed to serving authentic Japanese cuisine. Chef Iwakura is introducing three different "kaiseki"s in history, which pronounced the same and somewhat related, but completely different type of cuisines in different times and regions.

The restaurant is very cozy. The service is really good and the food is quite special and delicious. Kamakura is not a gimmicky place that lights your food on fire for no reason or uses dry ice to distract you from their mediocre food. Every detail of each course was well prepared with Iwakura’s passion. We sat right in front of the chefs, so we’re able to see them crafting our plates. Each plate was designed and crafted beautifully, we loved each one of the 10 courses, my favorite was unagi chawanmushi. Definitely it was a great experience for a special occasion.

If you are looking for a dining experience, looking for great sake or creative drinks, and appreciate culinary craftsmanship, Kamakura is for you. I was glad to see and experience Chef Iwakura’s dream we were talking about a few years ago. Do you have a passion for food and a culinary flair? Have you ever thought of a career as a chef? Can you imagine yourself in the kitchen, preparing the most exquisite cuisine? Fresh vegetables, seasoned meats, and fish dishes passing through your hands as you create and inspire will the excitement of the atmosphere keep you focused.

Now he got his own place and lives in his dream. I know he has been working for decades to make this happen.
