Boston Skyline Views

On our first visit to Blue Hills Reservation, a beautiful 7000-acre hiking oasis in Milton, Massachusetts, we decided to hike to the top. It was an amazing Sunday morning hike. I couldn’t believe that I have been missing this beautiful nature and place for more than a decade. Boston is such a fantastic city! I can access to beaches, hills and great view within 30 mins drive. It reminds me of Rio de Janeiro. It's often difficult to see what's right in front of your eyes.

After taking a walk outside, whether just a quick mile loop or a full day 10+ mile climb, I always come back feeling revitalized and refreshed. For a lot of people, hiking is the activity that sparks a greater interest in all things outdoors pursuit for the outdoors. Getting into running is easy, especially for weight loss, but getting into hiking is way easier and perfect for an active lifestyle. All you need is a day-pack, water, and a good pair of five finger toe shoes, and you are out the door. You do sun exposure, shinrinyoku, and earth at the same time!

The Blue Hills are now an excellent place to take a break from the bustle and reconnect with life whether you're visiting or living in the area, and you can even access them via public transit. There are several attractions within the reservation, including a museum, the oldest continuously operating weather station in the United States, and views of the Boston Skyline.

I enjoyed my Sunday hiking at Blue Hills. In the future, my wife and I would love to go back and complete other Trail courses. Blue Hills is a beautiful park. Amazingly, this reservation is located just 20 minutes from where we live in Boston. What a great way to spend a weekend morning exploring nature, exercising, and enjoying a peaceful escape outside of the city. FYI, It took us approximately 4 hours to hike 7 miles. There is a lot of uphill and downhill climbing, which takes up extra time.
